Our Switch to Eventbrite

As most of you know, we have been using Local Level Events for our ticketing and registrations for a number of years. We’ve had a few issues with it over the years, but recently those issues seem to have increased. Our biggest concern, however, has been its performance with Circus ticketing.

Since switching Circus ticketing over to it from Ticketmaster, Local Level has never ideally functioned for the task. It has created more than a few frustrations during Circus weekend, and those issues don’t seem to be something that Local Level is able to correct. As one of our biggest fundraisers, ticketing for the Circus has to function smoothly both prior to and during the Circus.

After much searching for the right alternative, we took Eventbrite for a spin for the 2025 Aladdin Shrine Circus. With only a few wrinkles that have since been ironed out, we found that the service worked much better for our needs both on the large scale of the Circus and on the smaller scale of everything else.

Several weeks ago we switched over to using Eventbrite for all our ticketing and registrations. ShrinerEvents.com now directs to our Eventbrite page. The only thing remaining on Local Level at this time is the registration for the Potentate’s Golf Trip, which closes on August 28th. After that, we will be 100% with Eventbrite.

As is the norm, registration for events such as Potentate’s Trips and Ladies’ Trips will continue to be serviced through either the Aladdin Shrine office or the travel agency that is being used for each trip.

Our switch to Eventbrite comes with a big benefit to all of you. Once you have created a login for the service (whether on a PC, or in the app on a phone or tablet), you will be able to easily see all of the events for which you have registered or bought tickets all in one place. This means no registration duplications and no double purchasing of tickets because you couldn’t remember if you had already done so or not.

CREATE AN ACCOUNT

If you don’t already have an Eventbrite account, creating one is recommended. You can create your account when you register for your first Aladdin Shrine event through Eventbrite. You can also go now and create your account before registration for an event.
