Our Shrine Ladies are an Important Part of Aladdin Shrine’s Success
The wives, girlfriends, mothers, daughters, and sisters of Aladdin Shriners are an important part of what makes our fraternity a success. Not only do they support us in our many fraternal endeavors, but they have their own affiliated organizations and activities where they can do their part for Shriners Children’s and get to know other Shriners’ ladies.
Affiliated women’s organizations are Ladies of the Oriental Shrine (LOS) and Daughters of the Nile. Follow the links to learn more about each of these organizations.
First Lady’s Project
Each year, the First Lady of Aladdin Shrine (the Potentate’s significant other) chooses an important project to support. The object of her project is to raise money for a specific need at Shriners Children’s or Aladdin Shrine. To anyone donating specific tiered dollar amounts to her project, the First Lady will give items such as jewelry, home goods, apparel, or trinkets as a gesture of thanks for his or her donation.
If you would like to donate to the First Lady’s project, you can find her at any Potentate’s Visitation and at most Aladdin Shrine meetings or events. Donations can be made by cash, check, or credit card. Click the button below to learn all about this year’s First Lady’s Project.
Ladies’ Get-Together During Stated Meeting Nights
Aladdin’s Stated Meeting nights are the perfect opportunity for Shriners’ ladies to meet, laugh, and get to know one another. Many great and long-lasting friendships have started at these gatherings!
At the Stated Meetings, after the ladies have enjoyed a simple dinner with their nobles in the Grand Ballroom, the group splits. The guys stay in the ballroom for their monthly meeting and the ladies head down the hall to the Aladdin Room, where there will be games or crafts to entertain, and social time for friendships to be made or strengthened.
- The Ladies’ Get-Together is always hosted by the current First Lady of Aladdin Shrine.
- Stated Meetings & Ladies’ Get-Togethers occur on the 3rd Monday every February through May and September through December at the Aladdin Shrine Center.
- Registration for attendance to the Stated Meeting night is required and can be found at ShrinerEvents.com.
- Free to attend, but if you plan on eating dinner with us, it is $10 per person (pay at the door).
- There is no dress code for the ladies. Come comfortable!
